Moscow Exchange (MOEX: MOEX) announced a discrete auction for securities of the pharmacy chain “36.6” (MOEX: APTK) after their value increased by more than 20% from the previous day’s closing price within five minutes. The auction lasted from 18:08 Moscow time to 18:38 Moscow time, reported press service Moscow Exchange.
According to the trading platform, the price of the “36.6” share reached 17.156 rubles at 18:04 Moscow time. The increase compared to the closing price of the previous trading day was 20.73%. As of 18:40 Moscow time, the share price of the pharmacy chain was 17 rubles. (+19.63%).
A discrete auction is held on the Moscow Exchange in conditions of volatility in order to stabilize exchange trading and as protection against sudden changes in quotes and price manipulation.
