Moldovan President accuses Gazprom of failing to fulfill contractual obligations

Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that Gazprom is not fulfilling its obligations to supply gas to the republic. In her opinion, the lack of fuel formed in Moldova is connected with this.
“Gazprom is not fulfilling its obligations under the contract,” Ms. Sandu said in an interview with TVR Moldova (quoted by TASS). She did not provide any details.
Due to the energy crisis in the republic valid state of emergency. In November Gazprom threatened reduce fuel supplies to Moldova due to the fact that part of the gas “settled” in Ukraine, but in the end I decided don’t do it. From December Moldova temporarily stopped gas supplies from Russia.
