Russian entrepreneurs called up for military service on partial mobilization were exempted from the need to provide statistical reporting, the relevant resolution signed Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the government website.
“[Документ] provides that information on business entities, where, as part of the mobilization, the only founder and at the same time the head is called, will be sent to Rosstat by the Federal Tax Service. Thus, the entrepreneurs themselves will be relieved of the need to provide reports during military service, ”the report says.
The new measure will allow such entrepreneurs to avoid fines for non-reporting.
Partial mobilization in Russia went on from September 21 to the end of October. During this time, according to the Ministry of Defense, 300,000 military personnel were called up. On October 31, the Ministry of Defense announced the final completion of all activities within the framework of the call for partial mobilization, including the issuance of subpoenas. Later, this was confirmed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, emphasizing that “the end has been put in this issue.”
The mobilized citizens were provided with various benefits. In particular, on October 20, Putin signed law on credit holidays for entrepreneurs called up for military service. This benefit allows small and medium-sized businesses to receive credit holidays if their sole owners have been mobilized. The mobilized and their relatives will be able to apply to the creditor for a measure of support until the end of next year. The law also allows the mobilized “to carry out entrepreneurial activities through proxies.”
October 22 government approved deferred payment of taxes and insurance premiums for the mobilized, which also applies to entrepreneurs who are the leaders and at the same time the sole founders of their companies.
