Belarus is interested in entering the production sites that remained after the departure of foreign companies from Russia, said Prime Minister of the Republic Roman Golovchenko.
Minsk, according to him, “slightly missed this moment”, and the vacant capacities are occupied by Russian and Chinese manufacturers.

Earlier in June, Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with Lukashenka declaredthat economic relations between the two countries are developing “unusually well.” Putin added that the quality of interaction and the structure of economic relations between the two countries “are changing in the right direction.” According to him, the emphasis is not only on the “traditional sectors” of cooperation between Russia and Belarus, but also on high-tech areas.
In early June, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin informedthat the trade turnover between Russia and Belarus in the first four months of this year increased by 11%, exceeding 1 trillion rubles. At the end of 2022, the volume of trade between the two countries grew by 12%, exceeding 3 trillion rubles.
