Ministry of Transport creates a digital transport platform for data exchange with BRICS and SCO

The Ministry of Transport plans to create a National Digital Transport and Logistics Platform (NCTLP), which will allow the exchange of information with the countries of ASEAN, BRICS, SCO and the EAEU. This follows from the procurement documentation, which the department posted on the public procurement portal on June 29. So far, an open tender has been announced only for research and planning of the future system, 57 million rubles will be allocated for this stage, and it must be completed before May 20, 2024.
The creation of the platform is planned in the transport strategy until 2030. The document was approved by government decree at the end of November 2021, the description for the competition says. The purpose of the system is to provide “seamless freight logistics”. This implies the widespread use of electronic navigation seals that transmit information about the location of the vehicle (V) and provide access control to the cargo compartment, as well as the end-to-end exchange of electronic documents at the interstate level and the creation of digital platforms for ordering cargo transportation, logistics services and e-commerce services.
