According to a newspaper source in one of the marketplaces, Tommy Hilfiger clothes will appear on store shelves the fastest – immediately after the order comes into force. Goods of other brands of clothing and cosmetics are expected in Russia around the middle of summer, purchases for them are already being prepared, the source said. He added that IKEA products, appliances and toys included in the list for parallel imports can be found in Russia in late May – early June.
The department explained that import promotion is aimed at those niches in which Russian manufacturers need more time to meet the needs of industrial enterprises and end consumers. They also announced a change in the approach to the formation of the list in the future: the Ministry of Industry and Trade plans to include in the list not individual brands, but their parent companies, that is, copyright holders.

The list of products for import under parallel import includes goods of electronics manufacturers (Apple, SamsungAsus, Intel, Sony, etc.), cars (Jaguar, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Bentley), rare earth metals, sports equipment, etc. In August, the Ministry of Industry and Trade also included perfumery and cosmetic products from the brands Redken, Valentino, etc.
