Ministry of Finance: the average price of Urals in March was almost two times lower than in 2022

The average price of Russian Urals oil in March was $47.85 per barrel, reported in the Ministry of Finance. This is 1.86 times lower than the price of Urals in March 2022, when the figure was at $89.05 per barrel.
At the end of the quarter, the average cost of a barrel of Urals dropped to $48.92 from $88.95 in January-March 2022.
After Western countries imposed sanctions against Russian oil, its supplies were reoriented to the East. As a result, the international agency Argus changed the methodology for determining the quotations of Russian Urals oil. Earlier, the Ministry of Finance reported that the average price of Urals in February was $49.56 per barrel, while in February 2022 it reached $92.15.
