Mineralnye Vody Airport resumed operation after runway repair

In the official Telegram channel of Mineralnye Vody Airport reported completion of the runway repair. The message briefly states that the problem, which was “timely detected” was promptly eliminated “thanks to the well-coordinated work of ground services.”
The airport administration assured that they were ready to receive and release aircraft and thanked the passengers for their patience.
Vyacheslav Sergienko, head of the Mineralnye Vody city district, where the airport is located in his VKontakte account informedthat the work to repair the resulting “minor deformation on the runway” is ending and “in the next 20-30 minutes, the work of the air harbor will be resumed.”
He clarified that a total of 22 flights were delayed for departure, and all arriving aircraft were redirected to the airports of Stavropol, Grozny, Makhachkala and Vladikavkaz.
In a discussion on the airport’s Telegram channel, passengers of flights sent to land in other cities report that information has appeared in the information desk that flights to Mineralnye Vody will begin at 22:00, and Pobeda airline flight 6913 from Moscow has already landed in the city.
