Last year it became known that the Zelenograd “Mikron” wants to increase the production of silicon wafers for the production of 90–180 nm chips from 3,000 to 6,000 per month by 2025. The company estimated the necessary investments for this at 10 billion rubles. until 2025. The plant is overloaded with orders since last year, but since 2024 counts also engage in the production of chips for domestic SIM cards.
