Director Nikita Mikhalkov wrote a statement to the police against his colleague Vitaly Mansky, in which he accuses him of slander.
Lawyer Pavel Astakhov confirmed this information “Gazete.Ru”, and said that Nikita Sergeevich wants the truth to triumph. Mansky, in an interview with TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak, previously stated that 85% of the budget of the Moscow International Film Festival was being stolen.
“In this situation, if someone declares, and even more so says in this interview, that he is ready to answer and confirm his words before the court, well, we are waiting – let Mansky come and confirm his words before the court,” Astakhov said.
Ksenia Sobchak in her TG channel reported that she had received a summons from the Directorate for the Organization of Inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
“I am a witness in a libel case that Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov saw in the words of Vitaly Vsevolodovich Mansky in our interview, published on my YouTube,” she clarified.
According to her, Mansky knows about the statement and the initiated criminal case. In his opinion, Mikhalkov wrote it because he was offended.
