Microsoft has improved Copilot in Teams – Kommersant

American corporation Microsoft added a number of improvements to the work of the AI ​​assistant Copilot in Teams – it will soon learn to combine written chats and oral transcripts into a common presentation, and summary notes will also be presented there. New features will be available in the Teams Premium plan in the second quarter of 2024.

Copilot now has new opportunities for interaction in chats, for example, AI can call for some kind of activity or even be rude to the interlocutor, depending on the context in the chat itself. It will be possible to recognize voice for any microphone, which will be useful for correctly compiling a transcript. The company says Copilot’s integration into Teams is one of the most impressive uses of AI in Office applications.

Previously Microsoft improved readability of fonts in Chrome, as well as added in Windows 11, integration of the Copilot AI assistant with the Microsoft 365 service and announced a new version of the Microsoft Office 2024 office suite, which does not require a subscription or Internet connection.
