Metalloinvest estimated excess profit tax at 6.9 billion rubles – Kommersant

Metalloinvest Holding plans to pay a tax on excess profits in the amount of 6.9 billion rubles. until November 30, 2023. This is stated in the financial report companies under IFRS for the first half of 2023.

Paying the tax by November 30th will halve the amount of the payment under the security deposit option.

Metalloinvest is a large mining and metallurgical holding in Russia. In terms of iron ore reserves, the company ranks first in Russia and second in the world. The net profit of Metalloinvest for the six months of 2023 decreased by 3.5 times – to 37.15 billion rubles, revenue – by 1.5 times to 219.16 billion rubles.
