As the agency notes, Chairman of the Board of Gazprombank Tigran Khachaturov believes that cooperation between Mega and Megamarket will attract new visitors to the chain’s shopping centers who prefer online shopping. Megamarket CEO Sergei Malyshev said that the new infrastructure will help the site’s partners strengthen their presence in large cities and increase sales.
Gazprombank bought Mega shopping centers in 2023. Kommersant’s sources in the real estate market said that negotiations on renting space with the company were conducted by the Termoland chain of thermal complexes, owned by the Osnova Group of Companies. Osnova President Alexander Ruchiev also confirmed to Kommersant that the company is discussing the opening of Termolands in ten Mega shopping centers in the regions of the country.
