Norwegian diesel and gas engine manufacturer Bergen Engines has resumed deliveries to Russia to fulfill its long-term contracts. This publication reports Bergens Tidende. Previously, the company curtailed its activities in the Russian Federation.
The spare parts will be used to repair 22 gas turbines that were delivered to Russian Copper Company in 2019.
Bergen Engines Managing Director Jon Erik Rev said the decision to resume deliveries came after the company consulted with its owners in the UK. According to him, we are talking about contracts that were signed several years ago.
