The agency’s interlocutor clarified that the concert in Pattaya was supposed to take place on January 24 at the Royal Cliff Hotel. In Phuket, at the Royal Phuket City Hotel, the TV presenter was scheduled to speak the next day.
“In Thailand, local authorities react very harshly if artists make political statements on stage,” the source said. The price of tickets for Maxim Galkin’s concerts in Thailand ranged from 8.5 thousand to 16 thousand rubles. They were removed from sale, TASS reports.
January 12 TASS agency reportedthat concerts of comedian Ruslan Bely (recognized as a foreign agent) were canceled in Thailand. He was scheduled to perform in Pattaya and Phuket on January 7 and 9. The reason for the cancellation of the concerts has not been reported.
