Comedian Maxim Galkin (included in the Russian register of foreign agents) announced plans to soon leave Israel and conduct a tour of European countries. According to the artist, he has performances planned in Cyprus, Poland, Moldova and the UK.
Galkin addressed fans on social networks by filming a video on the street in Israel. He noted that the weather is wonderful, and “this is the only thing that makes me happy about everything that is happening.” He also noted that the fighting in the country, which has been going on since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, has not disrupted the operation of the airport, so he is confident that he will be able to fly out of the country and give concerts.
At the same time, a large number of critical entries appeared in the comments under the post, in which the authors accuse Galkin of a lack of patriotism towards the new country he has chosen for life: “How can you organize humorous concerts when there is a war in the country?”, “What a nightmare: people they’re dying, and he’s talking about the concert,” “What concert, how to laugh, what topic is your performance on?”
Previously, Galkin denied plans to emigrate from Israel. The statement came after the media circulated a photograph of a man resembling Galkin allegedly about to take off from an Israeli airport.
