Manufacturers of household appliances Electrolux, Tefal, Braun and Rowenta began to block supplies to Russia through parallel imports, including sales on marketplaces. According to sources Kommersant is among retailers, companies are signing a moratorium on re-exports to Russia with partners in other countries.
In particular, the Swedish Electrolux Group (home appliance brands Electrolux, Zanussi, AEG) announced a restriction of parallel imports, this was announced by the chief executive officer of the M.Video-Eldorado group, Sergey Lee, at a conference on financial results. According to the top manager, Electrolux products are already “represented in limited quantities” in the retailer’s network.
In a conversation with Kommersant, sellers admit that brands that decide to impose a ban on supplies to Russia may completely disappear from sale. They will be replaced by Turkish and Chinese goods.
