Manufacturer of armored vehicles from Tatarstan bought the property of Motovilikha

The bankruptcy trustee of PJSC Motovilikha Plants (MZ) announced the conclusion of a purchase and sale agreement for the enterprise’s property complex with the only bidder – JSC Remdizel (Tatarstan). On September 21, the company offered 1.3 billion rubles for the lot. Since the PJSC is a strategic enterprise, the state had the preemptive right to purchase its property. It could have used it within a month, but judging by the signing of the agreement, this did not happen.
According to the documents, the property complex was sold at a lower price – 1.276 billion rubles. The price under the contract differs downwards due to a decrease in the amount of receivables of Teplo-M LLC, MGM LLC and SKB CJSC (subsidiaries of the Ministry of Health) as of the date of conclusion of the contract, explained the bankruptcy trustee of the bankrupt.
JSC Remdizel (Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan) is the successor of the enterprise, which was created as a repair plant for diesel engines of KamAZ vehicles. 100% of the company’s shares belonged to the capital’s SSK LLC. 99.95% of the shares in this company are controlled by the former TV presenter of the KamAZ TV channel Lyudmila Treistman, whom local media still call the beneficiary of Remdizel JSC.
PJSC Motovilikha Plants, one of the largest factories producing artillery systems in the country, was declared bankrupt in March 2018. The machine-building holding is engaged in the production and repair of multiple launch rocket systems, cannon self-propelled and towed artillery mounts. The company also produces special steels and equipment for the oil and gas industry.
Currently, production activities in the field of defense products are concentrated in CJSC Special Design Bureau, and civil activities in LLC Motovilikha – Civil Engineering. At the time of the introduction of the competitive procedure, the company’s debt amounted to about 17.6 billion rubles. The main creditor of the debtor is RT-Capital (part of the Rostec Group of Companies).
