Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that the new 19-seat Russian-Belarusian passenger aircraft will be certified in 2027. Its commercial operation will begin in 2028.
“2027 is the certification of this aircraft. Since 2028 – commercial operation,” Mr. Manturov told reporters at the Innoprom forum in Yekaterinburg (quote from RIA Novosti).
A twin-engine 19-seat passenger aircraft is a project of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant and the Belarusian “558 Aviation Repair Plant”. On July 10, an action plan for the production of this aircraft was signed.
According to 66.ru, we are talking about the development and production of an aircraft that should replace the Czech L-410. In 2016, UZGA localized the production of L-410 in the Titanium Valley Special Economic Zone.
