The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said that in 2023-2025 it is planned to deliver 63 domestic aircraft to Aeroflot, including SSJ NEW, MS-21 and TU-214. In 2023, 175 billion rubles will be allocated from the National Wealth Fund for leasing domestic aircraft for Aeroflot, he added at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

“In 2023–2025, deliveries of 63 aircraft to Aeroflot are planned. Meaning 34 imported Superjet, 18 MS-21 and 11 Tu-214. This year, 175 billion rubles will be allocated from the National Wealth Fund for the implementation of the program,” the Deputy Prime Minister said. He said that the decision to approve the investment project for aircraft leasing has been fully agreed upon by the government.

According to Mr. Manturov, the project will be financed at a preferential rate of 1.5%, without “excessive payback requirements.” The Ministry of Economic Development is preparing appropriate changes to the regulatory framework, after which the Ministry of Finance will bring the funds to the lessor through the redemption of bonds, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade said. “This is a subsidiary of Rostec, Aviakapital-Service, which will contract with aircraft manufacturing enterprises,” Mr. Manturov concluded.

After listening to the report of the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vladimir Putin declaredthat the aircraft order for 2023 is taking too long. “Please, I ask you to speed up this work. Well, there are no contracts for 2023 at the enterprises. What is there to say? You said no passports. So when will they be? And there are no contracts yet,” the president said.

September 7, 2022 it became known about signing an agreement between Aeroflot and the United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec) on the supply of 339 Russian-made aircraft. The aircraft will be delivered in 2023-2030. Denis Manturov said that the cost of the agreement will exceed 1 trillion rubles.
