Malakhov defeated Irina Viner in the race of compliments

The anniversary of Irina Viner, as expected, turned into a media event. The famous coach visited different broadcasts, where she listened to ardent compliments with royal calmness. And these compliments could compete with each other.

Andrey Malakhov won, which is quite expected. Flattery in his mouth is not false and not suffered, and he gives declarations of love with the same simplicity as he says “hello.” Perhaps, over the years of working with stellar clientele, Andrei Nikolayevich has mastered acting well, but, most likely, he speaks sincerely and therefore very convincingly.

In general, Irina Viner is a very interesting character for television. She does not want to fit into the schemes and formats of different projects and always behaves as she sees fit. Such an approach, of course, equally delights, irritates, but leaves no one indifferent.

Interviewers with Wiener are not easy. As befits a grand dame, she has long chosen for herself the topics she talks about, and if she encounters issues that are beyond her interests, she immediately recommends the journalist to hold their horses. However, on the big channels everyone showed politeness and humility.

In the special issue of the Podcast Lab project, Elena Kiper and Roman Karmanov were supposed to have a smart conversation, which is what the idea of ​​the project suggests. But instead, for some reason, sugary delights were offered mixed with attempts to ask sovereign questions. The star guest listened to her interlocutors without too much curiosity and in response offered a balanced mixture of well-known historical facts and no less replicated secular details.

In the show, Malakhov had about the same thing with the addition of numerous ardent congratulations of varying degrees of tongue-tied. But there was one nice bonus. Andrey was invited to the house, where he had the opportunity to run through the dazzlingly decorated rooms (it would be strange to see a woman in the mansion, whose tiaras and body kit haunt knowledgeable society chroniclers, furnishings in the spirit of Scandinavian minimalism) and show luxury in a certain sense of it.

For the duration of the audience, Malakhov forgot about his interest in various, sometimes very extravagant, contemporary risks and, with the enthusiasm of a museum curator, admired the masters who painted every millimeter of the stellar living space. “I hate renovations,” said Ms. Wiener at the height of the tour, leaving a bright mark on interior design as well.

AND THE CRUNCH OF THE TAJIK BULL

Food programs don’t lie. At least for now. The oil in the frying pans sizzles very convincingly, the gleam in the eyes of the cooks inspires hope that kitchen manipulations will save not only from hunger, but also from a bad mood.

Last weekend the Magic of Taste program had a real benefit performance. The host of the show, Anton Zaitsev, moved around the world in different editions and ate without any thought about the calories and harmfulness of individual dishes. Unlike the projects of Konstantin Ivlev or Renat Agzamov, there are no kitchen battles in Anton’s programs. No one says nasty things to anyone, the plates are intact, screaming is not welcome. For Zaitsev, food is part of a hedonistic ritual, and it causes nothing but delight.

Here Anton hooks an arctic hedgehog with a fork, chews thoughtfully and notices that for satiety he will need a hundred or two of these mollusks. Then he dances in Tajikistan with a big flatbread that is so crunchy that it immediately increases the appetite. And in the next episode, he plunges into the depths of Chinese cuisine, showing a willingness to eat everything that is offered to him.

Closer to the night already on another channel they give out a luxurious dessert in the form of the film “Spices and Passions” with Helen Mirren. In this confrontation between French and Indian cuisine, the look of the products is simply mesmerizing, and the recipe and technique for making an omelette (eggs, ghee in a special way, buttermilk, curry, black and red peppers, green onions and cilantro) sends you to another culinary planet. In general, you can get enough of one kind.

Programs in which all sorts of goodies are cooked can be called meditative television. As well as travel programs. But if the latter are now more and more annoying with import substitution (our cameramen urgently need to learn how to shoot local beauties, because so far it turns out most often completely unconvincingly), then there is some progress in showing food. In addition, we still have hope for store shelves and market stalls.

That is why people who have not lost the ability to enjoy immediately turn towards the TV if cooking begins there. When we cook, we feel like optimists, because we are busy with something real. After all, an omelette, even with plain ghee and without buttermilk, most likely will not deceive you. Unlike political observers.
