M.Video-Eldorado, a network of household appliances and electronics stores, will be the first in Russia to launch pre-orders for new Apple smartphones – iPhone 14, about this reported on the retailer’s website.
It is clarified that the pre-order can be issued using a virtual certificate, which can be purchased on the retailer’s website for 50,000 rubles. After the official start of sales, which is expected on September 16, the devices will be available to certificate holders. The products will also come with a one-year warranty.
“After the prices and dates for the start of sales worldwide are known, the certificate will become active. Representatives of the company will contact each of the clients after the planning of deliveries: they will clarify the chosen model, the final cost and details of receipt. Smartphone surcharge will be available at your nearest retail store. Buyers of the two networks will also receive an increased cashback in the form of bonus rubles as part of loyalty programs. If necessary, customers can return the certificate and receive a quick refund,” the company said in a statement.
How reported TASS in the press service of re: Store, there is no possibility to pre-order at the moment, since the company officially left Russia. Telecom operators that also sell Apple products (“Beeline“, MTS and “Megaphone“), declined to comment. Wildberries reported that new iPhone models will appear on the marketplace as soon as they are available in Russia.
The presentation of the new iPhone will take place on September 7th. According to Bloomberg, in addition to the four iPhone 14 models, the corporation will also introduce three models of Apple Watches, several Mac computers with M2 and M3 chips, an iPad tablet of budget and luxury segments, updated AirPods Pro headphones, as well as a new HomePod with the possibility of multi-touch and updated Apple TV. Sales are expected to open on September 16th.
