LUKOIL received 1.16 trillion rubles in net profit in 2023 – Kommersant

LUKOIL net profit (MOEX: LKOH) in 2023 amounted to 1.16 trillion rubles, revenue – 7.93 trillion rubles, follows from the company’s financial statements under IFRS, published on website information disclosure. The dynamics of the indicators are not given in the company’s report, since LUKOIL did not publish IFRS results for 2022.
As of December 31, 2023, LUKOIL’s operating profit amounted to 1.44 trillion rubles, pre-tax profit – 1.41 trillion rubles. At the same time, net profit attributable to shareholders reached RUB 1.15 trillion by the end of the year. The company’s short-term liabilities by the end of the year amounted to 1.44 trillion rubles, long-term – 757.1 billion rubles.
In the first half of the year LUKOIL received RUB 565.4 billion net profit (RUB 302.6 billion for the first quarter of 2023), for the same period in 2021 the company recorded a profit of RUB 348.4 billion. Revenue for the six months amounted to 3.6 trillion rubles.
LUKOIL is one of the largest publicly traded vertically integrated oil and gas companies in the world, accounting for about 2% of global oil production and about 1% of proven hydrocarbon reserves. At the end of 2022, LUKOIL’s net profit under RAS increased by 24%, to RUB 790 billion. Revenue amounted to 2.874 trillion rubles.
