LUKOIL has reserved 3.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel for Udmurtia for October

The authorities of Udmurtia have agreed with the oil company LUKOIL (MOEX: LKOH) about the reservation of 3.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel for October, said the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Olga Abramova. She noted that the cost of diesel fuel in the region has begun to decline after reaching record levels in September.

“We agreed with LUKOIL to reserve the required volumes of fuel. Now applications continue to be collected, applications are being fulfilled. We have about 3.5 thousand tons booked for October,” said Ms. Abramova (quoted by Interfax).

According to the Deputy Prime Minister of Udmurtia, the fuel situation in the region is satisfactory, despite problems with delivery for small farmers. “We will not be left without fuel this year,” she emphasized.

Olga Abramova recalled that in September, prices for diesel fuel in Udmurtia showed a record increase; in some transactions the cost of a liter reached 93 rubles. Currently, according to her, prices both on the stock exchange and in offers to agricultural producers have dropped to 73–75 rubles. per liter

In order to stabilize prices on the domestic fuel market, on September 21, the government temporarily banned the export of commercial gasoline and diesel fuel. Two weeks later, restrictions on the export of diesel fuel through pipelines to seaports were canceled for those companies that supply at least 50% of the product to the domestic market. Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak statedthat the measures taken helped “saturate the domestic market.” According to him, fuel prices have already decreased in 81 regions.
