LPG exports this year may exceed 2021 levels

Russian exporters of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LPG; a mixture of propane and butane) increased supplies abroad in January–July 2023 by 7.7% to 2.06 million tons. This is evidenced by data from the Petromarket research group, which was reviewed by “ Vedomosti”.
According to Petromarket’s forecast, in the absence of negative political factors, total LPG exports from Russia in 2023 will increase by 15% compared to 2022 and reach 4 million tons. Thus, the volume of supplies this year may exceed the 2021 figure. (3.89 million tons). In 2022, LPG exports from Russia, according to Petromarket, decreased by 11.3% to 3.45 million tons.
