Alla Pugacheva may someday return to Russia, but most likely she will not appear on stage. This is the opinion in a conversation with the publication aif.ru voiced by musician Yuri Loza.
He noted that Pugacheva “was ahead of the whole planet” and stood out against the general background. In particular, there was always talk around her about husbands, divorces and various scandals. According to Loza, what is more important to the audience now is not creativity, but the personal life of the artist.
“Find at least one news that the artist sang some new song or released an album. They hardly talk or write about this. But as soon as he goes on a binge or breaks down at a concert, or learns something, the news about it immediately jumps to the top,” said the artist.
He noted that Pugacheva, whom he was talking about, left the stage 15 years ago, but still remains a media character. Also, in his opinion, Russians are no longer interested in what the Prima Donna is doing. The artist noted that now Pugacheva’s entire repertoire has been sorted out by other performers, and therefore Pugacheva with songs is no longer needed.
He also drew attention to the lifestyle of the pop star.
“Nothing has changed for me. When I realized it was affecting my work, I quit smoking. And Pugacheva, in my opinion, still smokes. And he won’t sing like he did in his youth,” said Yuri Loza.
Previously, the media wrote that despite leaving Russia, Alla Pugacheva continues to maintain a serious influence on domestic show business.
