Deliveries to Russia of cosmetic brands Giorgio Armani Beauty, Lancome, Kerastase and Redken are impossible due to sanctions. This was reported “RIA News” at L`Oreal, which owns the brands. Earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the resumption of supplies.
“Regarding the erroneous information circulating in the Russian media that Giorgio Armani Beauty will again be imported into Russia, L`Oreal reiterates that its position has not changed. L`Oreal strictly complies with EU and US sanctions,” L`Oreal said in a statement.
The company recalled that it had stopped selling most of its brands. This did not affect only “essential products for daily use.”
November 7 at the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced about the readiness of L`Oreal to resume the supply of products. In this regard, the ministry excluded brands from the list of parallel imports.
In August, following retailer complaints, the agency placed Lancome, Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani, Helena Rubinstein and Kerastase on the parallel import list.
