Logistics companies are losing the online commerce segment

Russian online stores in 2022 began to refuse the services of logistics operators and develop their delivery systems. This is stated in the November Data Insight study “The Last Mile for Online Trading” based on the results of three quarters of 2022 (Vedomosti got acquainted with it).
This leads to consolidation in the logistics market: small courier services are closed, start-ups are frozen, the study notes. At the same time, the volumes of business of larger logisticians are also declining, in the portfolio of which there was a significant share of shipments of international brands that left the Russian market.
