Loans extended to farmers in regions bordering Ukraine
[ad_1]
The Ministry of Agriculture can postpone for a year for agricultural producers of border regions the deadline for paying interest and principal on short-term and investment loans. The draft resolution containing this decision was published on June 19 by the ministry on regulation.gov. Its discussion will last until July 3.
Additional support will be given to farmers whose property was damaged as a result of shelling by the armed forces of Ukraine or terrorist acts, follows from the document. To prolong loans, it will be necessary to provide an act of inspection of damaged objects by a special commission. If this is not possible due to the “operational situation”, it will be sufficient to provide a letter from the head of the municipality or the regional authority of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) confirming the damage.
