After leaving school, Petr Mamonov studied at a printing college, then entered the Moscow Polygraphic Institute at the editorial department, but left the third year. The musician changed many professions: he worked as a typesetter in a printing house, a proofreader, a bath attendant-masseur, an elevator operator, a loader, a stoker, and a translator. But he did not stay in one place for a long time, problems with alcohol and financial difficulties provoked depression.
