Letter of appeal // What are the prospects for the litigation of Russian banks against sanctions
[ad_1]
Russian banks have begun to appeal against the sanctions imposed by the EU. According to the regulations, banks have a little more than two months from the date of introduction of restrictions to file a claim. But the contestation process itself is quite lengthy and can stretch for a period of one to several years, lawyers warn. Experts, however, are skeptical about a positive outcome of cases, especially if the sanctions are challenged without changing the composition of shareholders, beneficiaries or management of financial institutions.
