Kostin and his deputy Puchkov nominated as candidates for the USC Board of Directors

The government nominated 13 candidates for election to the board of directors of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC). They included Andrey Kostin and his first deputy Andrey Puchkov. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, TASS reports.
The list also includes: First Deputy General Director of Rostec Vladimir Artyakov, Head of Rosmorrechflot Zakhary Dzhioev, General Director of the State Transport Leasing Company JSC Evgeny Dietrich, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov, Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Minister of Finance Irina Okladnikova, board member of the Military-Industrial Commission Vladimir Pospelov, deputy director general of Rosatom Vyacheslav Ruksha, head of the Federal Agency for Fishery Ilya Shestakov and vice president of Rosneft Andrey Shishkin. All of them “will represent the interests of the Russian Federation on the board of directors” of USC, the document says.
The government has decided to transfer USC, which is responsible for the construction of almost all warships and most of the civil ships in the Russian Federation, to VTB’s trust management for five years. According to Kommersant, the decision was caused by the disruption of the OSK recovery program, launched in 2020. RBC informedthat Andrey Puchkov will head the USC.
