Musicians will present a concert of students of their Academy of Contemporary Music
While many Russian pop stars today are concerned about their future, Olga Kormukhina and Alexei Belov are thinking about promoting young talents. So, on September 15 in the Palace of Culture. Gorbunov, they will present a concert of students of their Academy of Contemporary Music. The big gala concert, which brought together the best poets and singer-songwriters of Russia in 2022, is called “New Names”. Entry to the event will be free.
“This is the final gala concert of our Academy of Contemporary Music with Alexei, where children are taught at a more highly professional level to arrange, compose and record their works, create video content and promote their work on different platforms,” says Olga Kormukhina about the upcoming event, “besides we try to help young musicians in promotion: we already have several people in the rotation on the radio, and we promote them to major festivals so that they have their own audience and they can work concerts. Some of us are already gathering their halls.”
How long does this work take?
– This is the development of our history with Alexei with the School of Contemporary Music, which we announced during the Tavrida festival 5 years ago, we have understood a lot since then: what our young talents need, and, in fact, this knowledge of ours was organized with the help of a grant and the Institute of Contemporary Art. The guys really like everything, they say that the same master classes – but we have them in more detail and more interesting! – would cost a lot of money, and we selected the best, and the grant gave us the opportunity to bring them all here, organize a rehearsal base, rent a magnificent venue and organize a full-fledged process offline, when they worked directly with the teachers of our academy.
The concert will end with a performance by the masters themselves – Olga Kormukhina and Alexei Belov.
