The Russian government has asked the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) to set a customs duty on air conditioners and dishwashers of up to 10%. About it informed “Kommersant” with reference to the draft decision of the EEC.

It is clarified that it is also proposed to set a fee for split systems and fans. According to the Russian government, the Russian Federation has “its own production capabilities” for the production of such equipment. As noted by the source of the newspaper, the project was prepared to ensure the “sustainable development of the domestic radio-electronic industry.”

At the end of July, the Ministry of Economic Development reportedthat the government will increase duties on the import of wine from unfriendly countries from 12.5% ​​to 20% (but not less than $1.5 per liter). In addition to domestic producers, the wine market will be saturated with imports from friendly and neutral countries, the ministry noted. Now the list of unfriendly countries includes 49 states, among them the USA, EU, Japan, Australia, Canada, Great Britain.

The agency reported that imports of still wines from Chile in 2022 increased in value terms by 9%, from Armenia – by 161%, and there was also an increase in demand for South African wines. In June of this year, the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia proposed to increase duties on imported wine, – in the opinion of the association, the rate should have been set at a level of at least 50%.
