Russian stores of the Spanish brand Women’secret of lingerie and homewear can resume work in the country under the same signs. About it informed Kommersant, citing sources.

It is specified that Tendam, which owns a chain of stores, is preparing to transfer it to a partner. At the same time, not all stores will resume work, since it is assumed that the partner will refuse to rent unprofitable areas. As noted by the interlocutors of the publication, the stores that will be opened in Russia under a franchise will start selling the brand’s collection.

According to the publication, the company is now recruiting employees in stores in the shopping centers Metropolis, Europolis, Avenue in Moscow, as well as in the Atmosfera and Europolis shopping malls in St. Petersburg. The recruitment is carried out by the Fashion House company, which develops Women’secret in Belarus.

The Spanish Tendam owns the fashion brands Women’secret, Springfield, Pedro del Hierro and Cortefiel. The first Women’secret and Springfield stores opened in Russia in 2006, and in 2010 the local outlets were sold under a master franchise agreement to Melon Fashion Group. In 2013, Tendam decided to develop its business in Russia on its own and bought the stores from its franchisee.

In addition to Women’secret, after the start of the special operation in Ukraine, several international companies operating in the lingerie market left Russia, including Victoria’s Secret, Oysho (part of the Spanish Inditex) and Triumph.
