Ladoga Group LLC may start production of Fruko Schulz liqueurs in St. Petersburg, now they are produced at a plant in the Czech Republic, which is under the control of the company. About it informed Kommersant, citing a source.

According to the data in the Rosaccreditation register, at the end of March the company received a declaration of conformity for the production of Fruko Schulz Triple Sec and Fruko Schulz Coffee liqueurs with a strength of 40% and 20%, respectively.

Ladoga noted that the declaration was received as part of the “preparation of a potential basis for partnerships between companies. They also added that this is necessary to reduce the risks of sanctions and to quickly transfer the production of beverages to the Russian market if necessary.

It is clarified that production can be localized at the Ladoga site in St. Petersburg, its capacity is 5 million decaliters per year. According to the company, according to the results of the first quarter of 2023, imports of Fruko Schulz products increased tenfold, to 20,000 decalitres, and by the end of this year, the figure may rise to 100,000 decalitres.

Now liqueurs are produced at a plant in the Czech Republic with a capacity of 1.5 million decalitres per year. It was founded in 1898. The company is considered the second largest alcohol producer in the country, which also produces liqueurs, tinctures, sparkling wines and syrups. In 2010, the plant is completely moved under the control of the owners of Ladoga, the manufacturer of Tsarskaya vodka, Barrister gin, Fowler`s whiskey, etc.

At the end of 2022, Ladoga’s revenue increased by 46.4% to RUB 20.08 billion. Net profit amounted to 1.03 billion rubles, which is 5.3 times higher compared to 2021.
