Alfa-Bank plans to acquire a blocking stake in the event ticket aggregator Kassir.ru. About it informed Kommersant, citing sources.
According to the publication, the deal could amount to about 1 billion rubles. The press services of the bank and the aggregator declined to comment.
According to Kommersant sources, now Alfa bank there are no entertainment products. Closing the deal will allow the bank to integrate the platform for buying tickets for events into its mobile application and thus attract a new audience to the ecosystem with the help of exclusive concert tickets.
According to the SPARK-Interfax system, 83.66% in Kassir.ru – National Ticket Operator LLC belongs to the company’s general director Evgeny Finkelstein, another 16.33% belongs to Nadezhda Solovieva. The revenue of the Kassir.ru group for 2022 amounted to 1.4 billion rubles, the turnover was 11.3 billion rubles.
Previously, the co-owner of the ticket service was already “Tinkoff“. In 2018, the bank acquired 40% of the company, but in 2021 the parent company TCS Group withdrew from this asset and returned the share to Finkelstein.
