The Russian Ministry of Culture reported that singer Philip Kirkorov will not be deprived of the title of People’s Artist due to his participation in the party of blogger Anastasia Ivleeva at the Mutabor club. The head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption (FPBC) Vitaly Borodin previously sent a corresponding appeal to the department.
The Ministry of Culture noted that participation in the party cannot serve as a basis for depriving any artist of state awards and titles. “In accordance with paragraph 9 of the regulations on state awards of the Russian Federation, approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated 09/07/2010 No. 1099 “On measures to improve the state award system of the Russian Federation”, the recipient can be deprived of a state award only by a court verdict that has entered into legal force conviction for committing a grave or especially grave crime,” said “RIA News” in the press service of the department.
On December 27, Philip Kirkorov was removed from the official poster of the film “Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Everything,” which is scheduled to premiere on New Year’s Eve on the TNT website and on the film’s page in the Premier online cinema. TNT General Director Tina Kandelaki said that a number of scenes from the film will be reshot.
Anastasia Ivleeva’s party with the dress code “almost naked” took place on December 21. The event, which took place in the Moscow club Mutabor, was attended by Philip Kirkorov, Dmitry Bilan, Lolita, Dzhigan and rapper Vacio (Nikolai Vasiliev). Lefortovo Court of Moscow decidedthat the party was aimed at spreading non-traditional sexual relationships.
Philip Kirkorov, commenting on his participation in the party, said that he “dropped into the event for five minutes,” not knowing about its specifics. Attendance at the party named mistake. Several media and advertising companies froze contracts with artists who attended the party.
