The box office receipts of the film “Slave-2” in Russia in the first three days of release exceeded 1 billion rubles. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Unified Automated Information System (UAIS) of the Cinema Fund.

According to the UAIS, on the day of the premiere, January 1, “Slave-2” collected 314,721,551 rubles. Over three days, the film’s total box office receipts amounted to RUB 1,309,158,552.

The comedy “Slave-2” is a continuation of the story of Grisha from the 2019 film “Slave”. Both films were directed by Klim Shipenko. Milos Bikovich, Alexander Samoilenko, Maria Mironova, Ivan Okhlobystin returned to their roles.

Press service of the Karo cinema chain reportedthat Russian films in theatrical release on January 1st collected more than 600 million rubles. The box office leaders were “Kholop-2” and “The Bremen Town Musicians”, which were released on the first day of the year.
