Khamil from Casta suffered a cardiac arrest – Kommersant

Rapper Hamil (Andrey Pasechny) from the Casta group, who lives in Porto, Portugal, said that he had been in a coma for several days after a cardiac arrest. The next concerts of the group within the framework of the European tour will take place without him.

On his Instagram page (owned by Meta, which is banned in the Russian Federation), Khamil wrote that the cardiac arrest occurred while jogging. The 43-year-old artist was helped by a lifeguard who happened to be nearby. After the performer was taken to the hospital, where he underwent an urgent coronary artery bypass grafting – this allowed to restore blood flow in the heart.

Now Khamil is in rehabilitation. “I will recover and return to concert activities as soon as I finish rehabilitation. Don’t boil! Everything will be nishtyak!” he wrote and thanked the doctors of the Sao Joao and Santo Antnio hospitals.

After the start of the special operation, the members of the Caste left Russia. Now the group is on a tour of European cities. The Moscow studio, where Casta has been recording since 2012, is being rented out, and the musical equipment is being sold.
