Kazakhstan intends to send the first 20,000 tons of oil to Germany in January, Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Akchulakov said. According to him, the republic received a verbal confirmation from Russia for the export of 20,000 tons of raw materials to Germany.
“Now the first batch is 20 thousand tons, it is supposed (to be delivered in a year.— “b”) up to 1.5 million tons so far. The total capacity, which was requested in the amount of up to 6 million tons, – we can (deliver. – “b”). The need, of course, is higher in Germany,” Mr. Akchulakov told reporters (quoted by TASS).
Previously he declaredthat Russia does not interfere with the supply of oil from Kazakhstan to Germany through the Russian pipeline “Druzhba”.
In December the German authorities spokethat in 2023 they are not going to buy Russian oil, but they plan to import oil from Kazakhstan via the Druzhba oil pipeline. At the same time, it became known that Kazakhstan was going to pump 20,000 tons of KEBCO Blend oil from the Karachaganak field to Germany via the Druzhba oil pipeline in January.
