Kazakhstan plans to deliver 20,000 tons of oil to Germany in April

Kazakhstan intends to send another 20,000 tons of oil via the Druzhba pipeline to Germany in April. This was announced by the Minister of Energy of the Republic Bolat Akchulakov.
“The first batch of oil has already left, the second batch of oil is planned for March. On average, we plan (to direct.— “b”) 20 thousand tons of oil per month. According to the plan in April, too, 20 thousand tons,” said Mr. Akchulakov (quoted by TASS). In total, according to the minister, according to the results of 2023, the volume of exported oil will amount to 300 thousand tons.
January 29 Transneft received an application from Kazakhstan for pumping oil to Germany via Druzhba. It included the reservation of additional capacities of the oil pipeline in the amount of 1.2 million tons for 2023. Initially, it was planned to deliver 20,000 tons of oil via Druzhba to Germany in January of this year, but then the date of the start of transportation was postponed to February.
At the end of February, Igor Demin, adviser to the president of Transneft (one of the operators of the Druzhba pipeline), told Kommersant that the company had begun pumping oil from Kazakhstan in transit through Russia in the direction of the Adamova Zastava delivery point in Poland. The final delivery point is the Leuna and Shwedt refineries in Germany, which until the end of 2022 were provided with Russian raw materials.
