KamAZ will not publish IFRS statements for the first half of the year, said “Interfax” representative of the company. What this decision is connected with, he did not specify.
The general director of KamAZ, Sergey Kogogin, assured that the company’s financial results for six months would be “at the level of last year.” He said that “the bulk of good work and income was formed in the first three months,” but he did not give exact figures.
For the first half of 2021, KamAZ’s revenue under IFRS increased by 40.2%, to 118.853 billion rubles. The company also received a net profit of 3.969 billion rubles. against a loss for the same period in 2020.
KamAZ had difficulties with the production of trucks of modern generations after the suspension of the activities of the Daimler concern. He has suspended work in the Russian Federation since February 27 against the backdrop of hostilities in Ukraine. Daimler in the Russian Federation has a joint venture with KamAZ, Daimler Kamaz Rus, and 15% in the Russian concern.
