The holding was founded in 2010 and is engaged in the design and construction of energy and infrastructure facilities in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries. The enterprises included in Rotek produce components for turbines and aircraft engines for aviation and energy, energy storage systems (TEEMP LLC), and also develop and operate software for monitoring industrial equipment (Prana). Rotek also includes the Ural Turbine Plant (UTZ), located in Yekaterinburg. UTZ designs and manufactures steam turbines for thermal power plants, small nuclear power plants and nuclear icebreakers. 927 UTZ turbines have been installed in Russia and abroad. According to SPARK, UTZ’s revenue in 2020 is 9.34 billion rubles, net profit is 529.49 million rubles. UTZ employs 1.5 thousand people. According to the latest reporting data for 2018, 49% of Rotek belonged to the Renova holding, 31% to Mikhail Lifshits, and 20% to Evgeny Belov.
