Steven Deiters, producer of the film Jeanne DuBarry, in which Johnny Depp played the main role, said that the actor has no plans to come to Russia. He stated this in connection with the actor’s video message, which was broadcast before the film was shown in Moscow.

“This video was recorded for the film’s international release. And there will be no visits to Russia,” Mr. Deiters wrote on Twitter.

Before the show, a video message from Johnny Depp was presented, in which he thanked the audience and said that he was proud of the picture. Also, the performer of the role of Jeanne Dubarry Maivenn Le Besco addressed the audience: “I am very happy that the Russian audience will see the film right now.”

Later, a member of the group, Maxim Lisov, said that Johnny Depp’s visit was “only in the plans”, there was no agreement.
