Izvestia learned about the lack of spare parts in Russia for the repair of Bosch equipment

In Russia, there are not enough spare parts for the repair of household appliances of foreign brands, including Bosch. About it write “Izvestia” with reference to three specialists in the repair of electrical appliances.

In particular, it is problematic to find electronic control units for washing machines and dishwashers. The interlocutors of the newspaper noted that there is a particularly acute shortage of components for smart devices that were bought two or three years ago. Experts also could not say when the spare parts will be back in stock.

The problem was confirmed by the leading analyst of Mobile Research Group Eldar Murtazin. According to him, a number of Bosch components were supplied to Russia from Europe. The expert added that the difficulties with the shortage of spare parts are relevant not only for Bosch, but also for other brands of equipment, in particular, washing machines. Siemens.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that there was no information from retail chains and suppliers of household appliances about the shortage of components. The department, referring to the company that provides after-sales service for Bosch equipment, added that from time to time there are logistical difficulties with the supply of some foreign spare parts, but these issues are being resolved.

An unnamed employee of the company, which cooperates with several manufacturers of household appliances and electronics, specified that now Bosch devices and spare parts are imported into Russia through parallel imports. According to the interlocutor, interruptions in parallel import deliveries happen, but there is no situation where there are no parts available anywhere.

Experts interviewed by the publication admitted that the situation with spare parts could be affected by the fears of companies due to sanctions. In this regard, manufacturers began to control shipments more carefully, and intermediaries began to act more carefully, says Denis Kuskov, CEO of TelecomDaily. Restoring supply chains, he said, could take several months.
