Izvestia: H&M will keep three stores open in Moscow to sell the remaining goods

In Moscow, after November 30, H&M flagship stores in Metropolis, Afimoll and Tverskaya Street will continue to operate. They will sell the remaining goods that were not sold in other stores in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as leftovers from warehouses. The newspaper reports “News” citing a source close to the company’s management.
“The stores will remain open until most of the goods are sold out,” H&M customer service told the publication.
The fact that Russian H&M stores will continue to work in Russia until the assortment is completely sold out became known 6 September. The retail chain announced its exit from the Russian market on July 18, with more than 170 H&M stores operating in the country. As Kommersant found out in August, the retailer is almost a year ahead paid rent for the flagship store in the Akter Gallery in the center of Moscow.
