International arbitration accepted the claim of Naftogaz of Ukraine against Gazprom

The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) accepted for consideration the claim of Naftogaz Ukrainy against Gazprom, in which the Ukrainian side requires the Russian company to be obliged to fully pay for gas transit. This follows from Gazprom’s financial statements under RAS for 2022, published on March 16.
The reporting notes that the lawsuit was filed on September 16, 2022. Naftogaz demands “payment for services not rendered under the agreement <...> on the provision of services for the organization of transportation of natural gas through the territory of Ukraine dated December 30, 2019”.
