The Austrian insurance company Uniqa plans to leave the Russian market in the first half of 2024. This is stated in reporting companies for the first nine months of 2023.
“The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2024, subject to receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals,” the material says.
In August 2023 Uniqa reported on the sale of 75% of its stake in the insurance company Raiffeisen Life. Then representatives of the Austrian insurer talked about plans to complete their exit from the Russian market by February 2024.
