Inna Shalyto resigned as CEO of Roskino

Inna Shalyto left the post of General Director of Roskino. Ekaterina Naumova was appointed interim CEO, said TASS press service of the Ministry of Culture of Russia.
Roskino is a state organization that promotes Russian content on the international film market and at various film industry events under the Russian Content Worldwide brand, and also organizes Russian film festivals abroad under the Russian Film Festival (RFF) brand.
The department noted that under the leadership of Mrs. Shalyto, Roskino reoriented its activities to promote Russian cinema to the markets of Asia, the CIS and the MENA countries (Middle East and North Africa). In particular, representatives of the domestic film industry took part in major international events in Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2022, Roskino, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, organized 25 events under the RFF brand in 19 countries, the ministry said.
The agency also said that, under the leadership of Ms. Shalyto, the organization launched the educational brand Roskino Academy and implemented a program of seminars for filmmakers from Russia.
The post of the head of “Roskino” Inna Shalyto took April 28, 2022. Prior to that, she was the head of the St. Petersburg Tourism Committee.
